A Retrofit Emission Control Device is exhaust outlet of adiesel generator to reduce emissions. An RECD for a DG set is the mosteffective way to filter out harmful components like diesel particulate matter(DPM), carbon monoxide (CO),hydrocarbons (HC), sulfur dioxide (SO), and nitrogen oxides (NOx).

Retrofitting can simplybe termed as installing an Emission Control Device to remove harmful emissionsfrom a diesel engine exhaust. A Retrofit Emission Control Device (RECD) from Vasthi Instruments canefficiently remove over 90% of the particulate matter and other pollutants froma DG setïs exhaust.
